Please explain the origin of the name Dragonfly and the meaning behind it.

Dragonfly is one of my favorite insects. Its wings bear 300 million years worth of evolutionary history. Yet, it still flys and hovers, navigating through today’s chaos or roam across open plains. Dragonfly also symbolize fortune, growth, and change. In picking the name, I hope to introduce the countless well designed products from the world to Taiwan’s consumers. In turn, initiate enhancements on Taiwan’s notion on product design and create an environment where creativity can thrive.

Dragonfly就是蜻蜓，是我非常喜愛的一種昆蟲，擁有三億年歷史的有力翅膀，能夠盡情瀏覽開闊天地、悠遊於繽紛人間。而且它象徵著吉祥與好運、成長 與蛻變的契機；取名為蜻蜓是期望能將設計的意義發揚光大，引薦世界各地優質創意給台灣的普羅大眾，提供與全球同步的設計性產品，能為社會帶來一股清流，豐 富國內的創意環境。
